OASIS project had a strong presence at the EuroNanoForum 2019 bi-annual event taking place in Bucharest from 12th to 14th June. This event is focusing on both the industrial application of research results and future strategic research priorities in the area of Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials of the Horizon 2020 NMBP Programme and beyond. The event was composed of a conference, workshops, exhibition, site tours, brokerage events and social events, all of which made it a worthwhile occasion.
OASIS was represented by Amires company at the exhibition where a booth was installed showcasing also its other Horizon 2020 projects.
A conference session called “Nano from lab to fab: upscaling” even hosted presentations from two of the researchers involved in OASIS project – Prof. Anna Boczkowska from TMBK Partners and Dr. Antonios Vavouliotis from Adamant Composites. The former talked about up-scaling of CNT-doped thermoplastic veils production while the latter had a presentation on Scaling-up of nano-enabled composite materials through a modular R2R pilot line. Both, of course, referencing OASIS project.
Finally, on the last day of the event, a workshop called “Boosting Innovation for EU Industry” organized by the European Commission has seen Amires CEO Rudolf Fryček as one of the panel experts talking about Amires’ involvement in innovation ecosystem building in Europe through various means including Open Innovations Test Beds like OASIS.
